‘Far From the Home I Love’. Exeter Concert 13th April, 7.30pm

We are thrilled to be hosting acclaimed pianist Margaret Fingerhut who has devised a special concert that she is performing across the UK to raise awareness of refugee needs as well as to collect funds for City of Sanctuary and refugee groups. Margaret will be playing a varied programme that includes Chopin, Grieg, Haydn, Rachmaninov-
people who were Far From the Homes they loved. She has also specially commissioned a new piece by Arian, the Kurdish Syrian composer who wrote the Refugee National anthem for the 2016 Olympics.
