Refugee Week 18th June-24th June ’18: Full Programme of Events for Exeter

Particular Highlights: Exeter City of Sanctuary are delighted to be hosting the wonderful I Welcome Photographic exhibition with our local Amnesty group between 21st and 23rd June at St. Petrock’s Church ,High St. Exeter: https://www.facebook.com/events/1780221335370450/ Documenting 70 yrs. of the global refugee crisis the photos were taken by Magnum photographers. Aqeel Abdullah from the University Drama Dept’ will be speaking at a special exhibition event on the Thursday evening at 6pm (21st June).
As a prelude to refugee week Matthew Crampton will be back at Exeter Phoenix again this year on 12th June with the spellbinding ‘Human Cargo’ which promises to be an inspiring evening of music and storytelling on themes of exile and migration.
