There’s a wonderful variety of events, exhibitions, talks, films and entertainment in the city during Refugee Week. You can view the full listings below( click on images) .

Particular  Highlights:  Exeter City of Sanctuary are delighted to be hosting the wonderful   I Welcome Photographic exhibition with our local Amnesty group between 21st and 23rd June at St. Petrock’s Church ,High St. Exeter: https://www.facebook.com/events/1780221335370450/    Documenting 70 yrs. of the global refugee crisis the photos were taken by Magnum photographers. Aqeel Abdullah from the University Drama Dept’ will be speaking at a special exhibition event on the Thursday evening at 6pm (21st June).

As a prelude to refugee week Matthew Crampton will be back at Exeter Phoenix again this year on 12th June with the spellbinding ‘Human Cargo’ which promises to be an inspiring evening of music and storytelling on themes of exile and migration. Human Cargo: Matthew Crampton at Exeter Phoenix 12th June, 8pm    Facebook Page:  https://www.facebook.com/events/567070113659810/    Exeter Phoenix will also be showing ‘Another News Story’ on 19th June.
