HUGE Thanks to all who attended the exhibition-and to the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Cllr. Rob Hannaford ,who  participated in the launch  evening 21/6/18) . He reitered Exeter City Council’s commitment to welcoming refugees . A Special thanks to Aqeel Abdulla, Exeter Univ. who spoke movingly about the need to welcome everyone as a person – rather than as a ‘refugee’.

    Amnesty International Exeter & Exeter City of Sanctuary are co-hosting a photographic exhibition documenting 70 years of the global refugee crisis. Giving a powerful glimpse into the individual stories of the victims past and present, since the massive upheaval, displacement and aftermath of the Second World War. Collated in partnership and photographed by Magnum photographers
